In Saturday's non-league outing, the Wilcox-Hildreth Falcons (Wilcox, NE) basketball squad edged the host South Platte Blue Knights (Big Springs, NE), by a margin of 35-30.

The Falcons (14-5) will now prepare for their outing against Amherst (Amherst, NE). The Broncos go into the non-league outing with a 12-6 record. In their last outing, Amherst was tipped by Sumner-Eddyville-Miller (Sumner, NE), 40-34, in a league outing.

The Blue Knights now own a 11-5 record. They play next when they host Paxton for a non-league outing on Thursday, February 1.
