The North Country Union Falcons basketball team scored 63 points and restricted the host Vergennes Commodores to 40 in the Falcons league victory on Saturday.

The Falcons now sport a 11-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Enosburg Falls for a Mountain contest on Tuesday, January 31. North Country Union will battle a Hornets team coming off a 79-67 non-league loss to Middlebury (Middlebury, VT). The Hornets record now stands at 3-6.

The Commodores (8-4) will now prepare for their contest against Missisquoi Valley (Swanton, VT). The Thunderbirds come into the Lake contest with a 4-10 record. In their last contest, Missisquoi Valley was routed by Milton (Milton, VT), 52-41, in a league contest.
