January 28, 2023: Lehighton, PA 18235 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Louis E. Dieruff Huskies (Allentown, PA) and the host Lehighton Indians (Lehighton, PA), saw Louis E. Dieruff's basketball squad knock off Lehighton by a tally of 34-23.
With the victory, Louis E. Dieruff improves its record to 5-9 on the campaign. The Huskies travel to Nazareth Area (Nazareth, PA) to play the Blue Eagles in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 31. The Blue Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 8-6. Nazareth Area lost 44-26 in their recent non-league challenge against Pocono Mountain West (Pocono Summit, PA)
Next up, the Indians play the Panther Valley Panthers (Lansford, PA) in a Schuylkill County 1 challenge, on Monday, February 6. Lehighton will attempt to improve on its 4-6 season record.
