Minnesota High School Basketball - Eden Valley-Watkins crushes Pierz
January 30, 2023: Pierz, MN 56364 Eden Valley-Watkins Eagles (Eden Valley, MN) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Pierz Pioneers (Pierz, MN), 86-61 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Eden Valley-Watkins upgrades its record to 9-4 on the season. The Eagles travel to Kimball (Kimball, MN) to play the Cubs in a non-league bout on Thursday, February 2. The Cubs go into the bout with a record of 6-8. Kimball lost 58-44 in their recent non-league bout against Dassel-Cokato (Cokato, MN)
Next up, the Pioneers play the Milaca Wolves (Milaca, MN) in a AA Section 6 bout, on Tuesday, January 31. Pierz will attempt to upgrade on its 5-10 season record. The Wolves go into the bout with a 10-4 record after their 95-82 league loss to Albany (Albany, MN).
