Piper Bengals (Sunrise, FL) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Everglades Gators (Miramar, FL), 58-57 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Piper upgrades its record to 15-6 on the season. The Bengals travel to Pompano Beach (Pompano Beach, FL) to clash with the Golden Tornadoes in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 31. The Golden Tornadoes go into the bout with a record of 9-8. Pompano Beach lost 60-56 in their recent non-league bout against McArthur (Hollywood, FL)

Next up, the Gators clash with the Doral Academy Firebirds (Doral, FL) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 3. Everglades will attempt to upgrade on its 3-18 season record.
