Oregon High School Basketball - Elkton tops Yoncalla
January 31, 2023: Yoncalla, OR 97499 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Elkton Elks (Elkton, OR) and the host Yoncalla Eagles (Yoncalla, OR), saw Elkton's basketball squad knock off Yoncalla by a tally of 23-14.
With the victory, Elkton improves its record to 7-8 on the campaign. The Elks host Camas Valley (Camas Valley, OR) to play the Hornets in a 1A Skyline challenge on Friday, February 3. The Hornets come into the challenge with a record of 12-5. Camas Valley lost 59-37 in their recent league challenge against Myrtle Point (Myrtle Point, OR)
Next up, the Eagles play the Powers Cruisers (Powers, OR) in a 1A Skyline challenge, on Friday, February 3. Yoncalla will attempt to improve on its 5-10 season record. The Cruisers come into the challenge with a 8-4 record after their 56-27 league win over Pacific (Port Orford, OR).
