In Thursday's non-league contest, the host Lee Christian Falcons basketball team scored a good 35-24 triumph over the Central Carolina Academy Eagles.

The Falcons (7-9) will now prepare for their contest against Crossroads Christian (Henderson, NC). The Colts go into the NCISAA Mid-Carolina contest with a 8-7 record. In their last contest, Crossroads Christian topped Burlington Christian Academy (Burlington, NC), 40-25, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Eagles battle the Woods Charter Wolves (Chapel Hill, NC) in a Central Tar Heel 1A match, on Friday, February 6. Central Carolina Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 1-16 season record. The Wolves enter the match with a 12-8 record after their 44-38 league loss to Chatham Charter (Siler City, NC).
