Gilbert Tigers (Gilbert, IA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Boone Toreadors (Boone, IA), 52-27 in a league bout.

With the win, Gilbert upgrades its record to 11-8 on the season. The Tigers host Carlisle (Carlisle, IA) to clash with the Wildcats in a Raccoon River bout on Friday, February 11. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 7-13. Carlisle lost 43-32 in their recent league bout against Carroll (Carroll, IA)

Next up, the Toreadors clash with the North Polk Comets (Alleman, IA) in a Raccoon River bout, on Friday, February 11. Boone will attempt to upgrade on its 3-16 season record. The Comets go into the bout with a 15-4 record after their 51-43 league win over Bondurant-Farrar (Bondurant, IA).
