February 9, 2024: Louisville, KY 40243 The June Buchanan Crusaders basketball team (Pippa Passes, KY), was overwhelmed 37-13 in Friday's non-league battle with the host Highlands Latin Highlanders (Louisville, KY)
The Highlanders now possess a 5-15 record. They put it on the line next when they host Valley for a non-league battle on Saturday, February 10. Highlands Latin will confront a Vikings team coming off a 74-11 league win over Beth Haven (Louisville, KY). The Vikings record now stands at 16-6.
The Crusaders (4-10) will now prepare for their battle against Cordia (Hazard, KY). The Lions come into the District 53 battle with a 6-21 record. In their last battle, Cordia trounced Oneida Baptist Institute (Oneida, KY), 45-42, in a non-league battle.
