Hot Springs Bison (Hot Springs, SD) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Sturgis Brown Scoopers (Sturgis, SD), 39-36 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Hot Springs upgrades its record to 8-9 on the season. The Bison host Edgemont (Edgemont, SD) to clash with the Moguls in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 14. The Moguls go into the bout with a record of 10-7. Edgemont won 77-49 in their recent league bout against Oelrichs (Oelrichs, SD)

Next up, the Scoopers clash with the Red Cloud Crusaders (Pine Ridge, SD) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 14. Sturgis Brown will attempt to upgrade on its 1-14 season record. The Crusaders go into the bout with a 15-2 record after their 52-46 non-league loss to Rapid City Christian (Rapid City, SD).
