The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Butternut Midgets (Butternut, WI) and the host Bayfield Trollers (Bayfield, WI), observed Butternut's basketball team knock off Bayfield by a score of 51-40.

The Midgets (15-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Drummond (Drummond, WI). The Lumberjacks come into the Northern Lights challenge with a 1-16 record. In their last battle, Drummond was outscored by Washburn (Washburn, WI), 49-28, in a league battle.

The Trollers now own a 5-16 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Washburn for a non-league battle on Thursday, February 12. Bayfield will meet a Castle Guards squad coming off a 49-28 league win over Drummond (Drummond, WI). The Castle Guards record now stands at 7-12.
