Kansas High School Basketball - Valley Heights routed by Clay Center
February 11, 2025: Clay Center, KS 67432 Clay Center Tigers (Clay Center, KS) supporters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Valley Heights Mustangs (Blue Rapids, KS), 81-40 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Clay Center advances its record to 11-4 on the year. The Tigers travel to Wamego (Wamego, KS) to face the Red Raiders in a North Central Kansas match on Friday, February 14. The Red Raiders enter the match with a record of 4-13. Wamego won 90-20 in their recent non-league match against Independent (Wichita, KS)
The Mustangs now own a 3-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Clifton-Clyde for a Twin Valley match on Thursday, February 13. Valley Heights will face a Eagles squad coming off a 73-56 league win over Hanover (Hanover, KS). The Eagles record now stands at 11-5.
