The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Nogales Apaches (Nogales, AZ) and the visiting Flowing Wells Caballeros (Tucson, AZ), observed Nogales's basketball team edge Flowing Wells by a margin of 76-70.

The Apaches (10-14) will now prepare for their challenge against Pueblo (Tucson, AZ). The Warriors come into the 5A Southern challenge with a 8-19 record. In their last challenge, Pueblo was tipped by Cienega (Vail, AZ), 76-39, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Caballeros battle the Desert View Jaguars (Tucson, AZ) in a 5A Southern challenge, on Thursday, February 13. Flowing Wells will attempt to better on its 3-20 season record. The Jaguars come into the challenge with a 3-21 record after their 91-45 league loss to Buena (Sierra Vista, AZ).
