Illinois High School Basketball - Benet Academy fells Lake Forest
February 15, 2025: Lake Forest, IL 60045 The Benet Academy Redwings basketball team scored 56 points and limited the host Lake Forest Scouts to 48 in the Redwings non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Redwings now possess a 24-5 record. They play next when they host Chicago Hope Academy for a non-league game on Tuesday, February 18. Benet Academy will confront a team coming off a 60-43 non-league win over Bishop McNamara (Kankakee, IL). The record now stands at 20-6.
With the loss, Lake Forest falls to 19-9 on the campaign. The Scouts travel to Lake Zurich (Lake Zurich, IL) to confront the Bears in a North Suburban game on Wednesday, February 19. The Bears go into the game with a record of 13-16. Lake Zurich lost 64-37 in their recent league game against Stevenson (Lincolnshire, IL)
