In Thursday's non-league contest, the Royal Highlanders (Simi Valley, CA) lacrosse squad routed the visiting Birmingham Patriots (Lake Balboa, CA), by a count of 11-1.

Next up, the Highlanders play the Heritage Christian Warriors (Northridge, CA) in a non-league match, on Friday, February 17. Royal will attempt to upgrade on its 1-0 season record. The Warriors go into the match with a 0-1 record after their 10-3 non-league loss to Simi Valley (Simi Valley, CA).
