Georgia High School Soccer - Jackson knocks off Hampton
March 10, 2023: Jackson, GA 30233 Jackson Red Devils (Jackson, GA) supporters were pleased Friday as they observed their soccer team overwhelm the visiting Hampton Hornets (Hampton, GA), 14-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Red Devils confront the Peach County Trojans (Fort Valley, GA) in a 3A Region 2 challenge, on Tuesday, March 14. Jackson will attempt to move on its 6-4 season record. The Trojans enter the challenge with a 0-10 record after their 7-0 league loss to Pike County (Zebulon, GA).
The Hornets now possess a 0-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Pace Academy for a 4A Region 5 challenge on Tuesday, March 14. Hampton will confront a Knights team coming off a 10-0 league win over Mt. Zion (Jonesboro, GA). The Knights record now stands at 3-1.
