The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Lancaster Bruins (Lancaster, SC) and the visiting York Cougars (York, SC), observed Lancaster's softball team prevail over York by a tally of 20-5.

The Bruins (3-5) will now prepare for their bout against Andrew Jackson (Kershaw, SC). The Volunteers go into the non-league bout with a 3-1 record. In their last bout, Andrew Jackson knocked off Central (Pageland, SC), 12-1, in a non-league bout.
