March 18, 2025: Bellingham, WA 98226 The Mount Vernon Christian Hurricanes baseball team scored 11 runs and held the host Squalicum Storm to 0 in the Hurricanes non-league win on Tuesday.
The Hurricanes now hold a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they host Mt. Baker for a non-league test on Wednesday, March 19. Mount Vernon Christian will play a Mountaineers team coming off a 11-1 non-league loss to Friday Harbor (Friday Harbor, WA). The Mountaineers record now stands at 0-1.
With the defeat, Squalicum drops to 0-3 on the year. The Storm host Lynden Christian (Lynden, WA) to play the Lyncs in a 1A/2A/3A Northwest test on Saturday, March 22. The Lyncs go into the test with a record of 2-0. Lynden Christian won 11-1 in their recent league test against Mt. Baker (Deming, WA)
