North Carolina High School Soccer - Northern Durham nudges Person
March 18, 2025: Durham, NC 27704 Fans at Tuesday's non-league battle between the Northern Durham Knights (Durham, NC) and the visiting Person Rockets (Roxboro, NC), saw Northern Durham's soccer squad hold off Person by a count of 1-0.
The Knights (5-1) will now prepare for their battle against Southern School of Energy and Sustainability (Durham, NC). The Spartans enter the non-league battle with a 0-4 record. In their last battle, Southern School of Energy and Sustainability was edged by Vance County (Henderson, NC), 4-1, in a league battle.
Next up, the Rockets battle the Cedar Ridge Fighting Red Wolves (Hillsborough, NC) in a Central 3A battle, on Monday, March 24. Person will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Fighting Red Wolves enter the battle with a 3-2 record after their 0-0 non-league Seaforth (Pittsboro, NC).
