The crowd at Friday's non-league battle between the Sugar-Salem Diggers (Sugar City, ID) and the visiting Parma Panthers (Parma, ID), saw Sugar-Salem's baseball team gain a win over Parma by a tally of 12-5.

The Diggers (3-2) will now prepare for their battle against Mountain Home (Mountain Home, ID). The Tigers enter the non-league contest with a 3-5 record. In their last contest, Mountain Home got by Meridian (Meridian, ID), 5-3, in a non-league contest.

The Panthers now possess a 2-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Timberlake for a non-league contest on Saturday, March 21. Parma will confront a Tigers squad coming off a 16-2 non-league loss to Minico (Rupert, ID). The Tigers record now stands at 1-2.
