March 27, 2025: Damascus, VA 24236 The Castlewood Blue Devils (Castlewood, VA) baseball trounced the host Holston Cavaliers (Damascus, VA), 9-0 in Thursday's non-league challenge.
The Blue Devils now own a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to PikeView for a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 29. Castlewood will clash with a Panthers team coming off a 10-4 league win over Nicholas County (Summersville, WV). The Panthers record now stands at 4-1.
With the defeat, Holston drops to 0-3 on the year. The Cavaliers host J.I. Burton (Norton, VA) to clash with the Black Raiders in a non-league challenge on Monday, March 31. The Black Raiders go into the challenge with a record of 1-0. J.I. Burton won 14-4 in their recent non-league challenge against Northwood (Saltville, VA)
