Georgia High School Baseball - South Gwinnett defeats Luella
April 1, 2025: Snellville, GA 30078 The South Gwinnett Comets baseball team scored 7 runs and held the visiting Luella Lions to 0 in the Comets non-league win on Tuesday.
The Comets now hold a 2-16 record. They take the field next when they travel to Jackson County for a non-league test on Friday, April 4. South Gwinnett will play a Panthers team coming off a 7-4 league loss to Habersham Central (Mt. Airy, GA). The Panthers record now stands at 9-11.
With the defeat, Luella drops to 12-9 on the year. The Lions host Cedar Grove (Ellenwood, GA) to play the Saints in a AAA Region 5 test on Wednesday, April 2. The Saints go into the test with a record of 1-10. Cedar Grove lost 16-0 in their recent league test against Luella (Luella, GA)
