North Gaston Wildcats (Dallas, NC) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting South Point Red Raiders (Belmont, NC), 10-0 in a league challenge.

The Wildcats now own a 7-5 record. They take the field next when they host Forestview for a Big South 3A challenge on Friday, April 8. North Gaston will battle a Jaguars squad coming off a 5-3 league loss to Stuart W. Cramer (Belmont, NC). The Jaguars record now stands at 7-5.
