New York High School Baseball - Lumpkin County gets by Greece Athena
April 5, 2024: Rochester, NY 14612 Spectators at Friday's non-league battle between the Lumpkin County Indians (Dahlonega, GA) and the host Greece Athena Trojans (Rochester, NY), saw Lumpkin County's baseball squad knock off Greece Athena by a count of 7-4.
Coming up next, the Indians play the Riverdale Baptist Crusaders (Upper Marlboro, MD) in a non-league battle, on Friday, April 5. Lumpkin County will attempt to move on its 12-11 season record. The Crusaders enter the battle with a 4-7 record after their 4-3 non-league win over General McLane (Edinboro, PA).
The Trojans now possess a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Gates Chili for a non-league battle on Tuesday, April 9.
