The Poteet Pirates baseball team scored 20 runs and held the host Samuell Spartans to 0 in the Pirates league win on Friday.

The Pirates now own a 12-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to North Forney for a non-league test on Saturday, April 12. Poteet will play a Falcons team coming off a 9-1 league loss to Royse City (Royse City, TX). The Falcons record now stands at 4-13.
