April 16, 2025: Vienna, VA 22181 In Wednesday's non-league test, the James Madison Warhawks (Vienna, VA) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Horseheads Blue Raiders (Horseheads, NY), by a tally of 7-1.
Next, the Warhawks clash with the Penfield Patriots (Penfield, NY) in a non-league test, on Thursday, April 17. James Madison will attempt to advance on its 10-1 season record. The Patriots go into the test with a 1-3 record after their 13-6 non-league loss to Langley (McLean, VA).
The Blue Raiders (3-2) will now prepare for their test against Corning-Painted Post (Corning, NY). The Hawks go into the Section 4 Southern Tier - West test with a 4-0 record. In their last test, Corning-Painted Post held off James Madison (Vienna, VA), 8-0, in a non-league test.
