April 19, 2025: Waverly, IA 50677 Waverly-Shell Rock Go-Hawks (Waverly, IA) backers exited the stadium pleased Saturday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the visiting Pella Dutch (Pella, IA), 3-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Waverly-Shell Rock advances its record to 8-0 on the campaign. The Go-Hawks host New Hampton (New Hampton, IA) to clash with the Chickasaws in a non-league test on Thursday, April 24. The Chickasaws come into the test with a record of 1-2. New Hampton lost 3-1 in their recent non-league test against Clayton-Ridge (Guttenburg, IA)
The Dutch now have a 3-8 record. They take the field next when they host Norwalk for a Little Hawkeye test on Tuesday, April 22. Pella will clash with a Warriors team coming off a 0-0 non-league Southeast Polk (Pleasant Hill, IA). The Warriors record now stands at 3-1.
