Afton Knights (Afton, NY) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Schenevus Central Dragons (Schenevus, NY), 8-1 in a non-league test.

With the win, Afton upgrades its record to 3-3 on the season. The Knights travel to Bainbridge-Guilford (Bainbridge, NY) to battle the Bobcats in a Section 4 Midstate I test on Tuesday, April 26. The Bobcats come into the test with a record of 8-3. Bainbridge-Guilford lost 8-3 in their recent league test against Unatego (Otego, NY)

With the defeat, Schenevus Central falls to 0-1 on the season. The Dragons travel to Morris Central (Morris, NY) to battle the Mustangs in a Section 4 Tri-Valley test on Tuesday, April 26. The Mustangs come into the test with a record of 0-2.
