Fans at Tuesday's league battle between the Crestwood Knights (Sumter, SC) and the visiting Lakewood Gators (Sumter, SC), saw Crestwood's soccer squad hold off Lakewood by a count of 1-0.

The Knights (10-6) will now prepare for their battle against Darlington (Darlington, SC). The Falcons enter the AAAA Region 5 battle with a 6-7 record. In their last battle, Darlington was edged by Hartsville (Hartsville, SC), 5-0, in a league battle.

Next up, the Gators battle the Hartsville Red Foxes (Hartsville, SC) in a AAAA Region 5 battle, on Thursday, April 30. Lakewood will attempt to upgrade on its 3-15 season record. The Red Foxes enter the battle with a 11-7 record after their 4-0 league win over South Florence (Florence, SC).
