The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Ogilvie Lions (Ogilvie, MN) and the host East Central Eagles (Sandstone, MN), observed Ogilvie's softball team notch a victory over East Central by a tally of 23-11.

The Lions (4-4) will now prepare for their bout against McGregor (McGregor, MN). The Mercuries go into the non-league bout with a 1-9 record.

In their next game, the Eagles battle the Barnum Bombers (Barnum, MN) in a non-league bout, on Friday, May 2. East Central will attempt to advance on its 2-5 season record.
