In Saturday's non-league game, the host Slinger Owls baseball team scored a close 9-8 victory over the Arrowhead Warhawks.

The Owls (9-5) will now prepare for their game against Nicolet (Glendale, WI). The Knights enter the North Shore game with a 4-8 record. In their last game, Nicolet held off Wauwatosa West (Wauwatosa, WI), 18-11, in a non-league game.
