The Bedford North Lawrence Stars softball team scored 5 runs and held the visiting Orleans Bulldogs to 3 in the Stars non-league win on Monday.

The Stars now sport a 14-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Barr-Reeve for a non-league battle on Tuesday, May 6. Bedford North Lawrence will confront a Vikings team coming off a 11-0 non-league win over Princeton (Princeton, IN). The Vikings record now stands at 7-3.

With the loss, Orleans moves to 11-3 on the season. The Bulldogs host Springs Valley (French Lick, IN) to confront the Blackhawks in a Patoka Lake battle on Tuesday, May 6.
