The Cave Spring Knights (Roanoke, VA) softball routed the visiting Blacksburg Bruins (Blacksburg, VA), 12-0 in Friday's league outing.

The Knights now sport a 12-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lord Botetourt for a non-league outing on Monday, May 11. Cave Spring will encounter a Cavaliers team coming off a 5-1 league loss to William Byrd (Vinton, VA). The Cavaliers record now stands at 7-10.

With the loss, Blacksburg moves to 5-14 on the season. The Bruins travel to Hidden Valley (Roanoke, VA) to encounter the Titans in a River Ridge outing on Tuesday, May 12.
