The Fishers Tigers baseball team scored 12 runs and held the visiting New Castle Trojans to 2 in the Tigers non-league win on Friday.

The Tigers now own a 18-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Yorktown for a non-league test on Monday, May 12. Fishers will play a Tigers team coming off a 6-4 non-league loss to Shenandoah (Middletown, IN). The Tigers record now stands at 9-10.

With the defeat, New Castle drops to 5-14 on the year. The Trojans travel to Shelbyville (Shelbyville, IN) to play the Golden Bears in a Hoosier Heritage test on Tuesday, May 13. The Golden Bears go into the test with a record of 11-7.
