The Lutheran North Mustangs (Macomb, MI) baseball trounced the host Imlay City Spartans (Imlay City, MI), 18-6 in Thursday's non-league challenge.

The Mustangs now own a 17-2 record. They take the field next when they host Lumen Christi Catholic for a Catholic C-D C challenge on Friday, May 16.

With the defeat, Imlay City drops to 2-12 on the year. The Spartans travel to Yale (Yale, MI) to clash with the Bulldogs in a Blue Water Area challenge on Tuesday, May 20. The Bulldogs go into the challenge with a record of 10-7.
