Ohio High School Baseball - Marysville sneaks past Zane Trace
May 24, 2025: Marysville, OH 43040 The crowd at Saturday's non-league battle between the Marysville Monarchs (Marysville, OH) and the visiting Zane Trace Pioneers (Chillicothe, OH), saw Marysville's baseball team get by Zane Trace by a tally of 10-9.
The Monarchs (14-11) will now prepare for their battle against Newark (Newark, OH). The Wildcats enter the non-league battle with a 12-9 record. In their last battle, Newark held off Westerville North (Westerville, OH), 10-0, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Pioneers face the Minford Falcons (Minford, OH) in a non-league battle, on Wednesday, May 28. Zane Trace will attempt to upgrade on its 19-7 season record. The Falcons enter the battle with a 9-9 record after their 17-3 non-league win over Rock Hill (Ironton, OH).
