Pennsylvania High School Lacrosse - Radnor tipped by Springfield
May 27, 2026: Radnor, PA 19087 Springfield Cougars (Springfield, PA) backers exited the stadium satisfied Wednesday as they saw their lacrosse team gain a win over the host Radnor Raptors (Radnor, PA), 10-8 in a non-league game.
With the victory, Springfield improves its record to 19-2 on the season.
The Raptors now have a 22-4 record.
Game Summary
Springfield's Sn. Luke Valerio got things going early with a goal off the opening face-off just 13 seconds into the game. The Raptors answered 2 minutes later to tie it up at 1 a piece before Sn. Brad Barber scored 3 straight giving the Cougars a 4-1 lead. Radnor's number 32 scored 2 straight, coming in the end of the 1st and start of the 2nd making it a 1 goal game again before Sn. AJ Clark scored for Springfield to stretch the lead back to 2 with 3 minutes to go in the 2nd. Radnor proceeded to score 3 straight and take the lead with 2 goals from number 29 and 1 from 15 before So. Gabe Ryan got his way in the books with a goal to tie it back it. So. Mason Ellis followed up with 2 straight goals to end the 3rd quarter giving Springfield the 2 goal lead going into the 4th. Radnor struck first with a #26 goal but followed by 2 more Springfield Sn. Barber goals. Radnor did score one more with 18 seconds remaining but was not enough and making the Springfield Cougars the 2026 D1 3A Champs.
