California High School Football - El Capitan defeats Valley Center

August 18, 2023: Valley Center, CA 92082

In Friday's non-league match, the visiting El Capitan Vaqueros football squad scored a good 47-18 victory over the Valley Center Jaguars.

In their next game, the Vaqueros clash with the Canyon Hills Rattlers (San Diego, CA) in a non-league test, on Friday, August 25. El Capitan will attempt to improve on its 1-0 season record. The Rattlers come into the test with a 0-1 record after their 40-21 non-league loss to Santana (Santee, CA).

With the loss, Valley Center drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Jaguars host Brawley (Brawley, CA) to confront the Wildcats in a non-league test on Friday, August 25. The Wildcats come into the test with a record of 0-0.
