The Defiance Bulldogs (Defiance, OH) football overcame the host Napoleon Wildcats (Napoleon, OH), 28-7 in Friday's non-league bout.

In their next game, the Bulldogs face the Memorial Roughriders (St. Marys, OH) in a Western Buckeye bout, on Friday, August 26. Defiance will attempt to move on its 1-0 season record. The Roughriders enter the bout with a 1-0 record after their 42-31 non-league win over London (London, OH).
