Rye Thunderbolts (Rye, CO) boosters left the game content Friday as they observed their football squad top the visiting Manitou Springs Mustangs (Manitou Springs, CO), 28-3 in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Thunderbolts face the Trinidad Miners (Trinidad, CO) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, August 30. Rye will attempt to improve on its 1-0 season record. The Miners go into the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 40-8 non-league loss to Ellicott (Calhan, CO).

The Mustangs (0-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Prospect Ridge Academy (Broomfield, CO). The Miners go into the non-league challenge with a 0-0 record.
