August 22, 2025: Dahlonega, GA 30533 The Lumpkin County Indians (Dahlonega, GA) softball routed the visiting Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe Warriors (Fort Oglethorpe, GA), 5-0 in Friday's non-league outing.
The Indians now sport a 8-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hillgrove for a non-league outing on Friday, August 22. Lumpkin County will encounter a Hawks team coming off a 12-0 league win over McEachern (Powder Springs, GA). The Hawks record now stands at 3-4.
With the loss, Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe moves to 2-5 on the season. The Warriors travel to Kell (Marietta, GA) to encounter the Longhorns in a non-league outing on Saturday, August 23. The Longhorns come into the outing with a record of 7-0. Kell won 13-5 in their recent non-league battle against North Atlanta (Atlanta, GA)
