The Portage Indians volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the host East Chicago Central Cardinals to 0 in the Indians non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Indians now have a 3-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Michigan City for a Duneland game on Tuesday, August 26. Portage will confront a Wolves squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to New Prairie (New Carlisle, IN). The Wolves record now stands at 0-3.

The Cardinals (1-5) will now prepare for their game against Westville (Westville, IN). The Blackhawks go into the non-league game with a 4-2 record. In their last game, Westville was dropped by Whiting (Whiting, IN), 3-1, in a non-league game.
