August 23, 2025: Vicksburg, MS 39180 The Lake Hornets topped the host Warren Central Vikings volleyball squad by a final score of 2-0 in Saturday's non-league game.
Next up, the Hornets confront the Union Yellowjackets (Union, MS) in a non-league game, on Saturday, August 23. Lake will attempt to advance on its 9-4 season record. The Yellowjackets go into the game with a 11-5 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Lamar (Meridian, MS).
The Vikings (7-9) will now prepare for their game against Northeast Lauderdale (Meridian, MS). The Trojans go into the non-league game with a 5-9 record. In their last game, Northeast Lauderdale was dropped by Neshoba Central (Philadelphia, MS), 3-0, in a non-league game.
