Georgia High School Softball - Jefferson bounces Bulloch Academy
August 28, 2021: Jefferson, GA 30549 Spectators at Saturday's non-league match between the Jefferson Dragons (Jefferson, GA) and the visiting Bulloch Academy Gators (Statesboro, GA), witnessed Jefferson's softball squad tip Bulloch Academy by a count of 7-2.
The Dragons now sport a 4-3 record. They play next when they travel to South Paulding for a non-league match on Saturday, August 28. Jefferson will face a Spartans squad coming off a 6-1 league win over Dalton (Dalton, GA). The Spartans record now stands at 6-2.
With the loss, Bulloch Academy moves to 6-5 on the season. The Gators travel to Duluth (Duluth, GA) to face the Wildcats in a non-league match on Saturday, August 28. The Wildcats go into the match with a record of 3-3. Duluth won 4-3 in their recent non-league match against Starr's Mill (Fayetteville, GA)
