August 29, 2023: Nottoway, VA 23930 The Nottoway Cougars volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Maggie Walker to 1 in the Cougars non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Cougars now have a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host King William for a non-league game on Thursday, August 31. Nottoway will confront a Cavaliers team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Rappahannock (Warsaw, VA). The Cavaliers record now stands at 0-1.
The (1-3) will now prepare for their game against Hermitage (Richmond, VA). The Panthers enter the Colonial game with a 1-2 record. In their last game, Hermitage dropped by Freeman (Richmond, VA), 3-0, in a league game.
