North Carolina High School Football - Forbush over Wheatmore

August 29, 2025: Trinity, NC 27370

The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Forbush Falcons (East Bend, NC) and the host Wheatmore Warriors (Trinity, NC), witnessed Forbush's football squad knock off Wheatmore by a tally of 32-19.

The Falcons (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Starmount (Boonville, NC). The Rams enter the non-league contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, Starmount gained a win over East Surry (Pilot Mountain, NC), 27-14, in a non-league contest.

Coming up next, the Warriors battle the South Davidson Wildcats (Denton, NC) in a non-league contest, on Friday, September 5. Wheatmore will attempt to better on its 0-2 season record. The Wildcats enter the contest with a 2-0 record after their 48-6 non-league win over Bonnie Cone Leadership Academy (Huntersville, NC).
