The Panthers now sport a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host South Laurel for a non-league outing on Friday, September 5. Knox Central will clash with a Cardinals squad coming off a 63-14 non-league win over Clay County (Manchester, KY). The Cardinals record now stands at 2-0.
With the defeat, Marion County drops to 1-1 on the campaign. The Knights host Washington County (Springfield, KY) to clash with the Commanders in a non-league outing on Friday, September 5. The Commanders come into the outing with a record of 2-0. Washington County won 34-17 in their recent non-league game against Bethlehem (Bardstown, KY)
