The Manchester Panthers football squad scored 48 points and limited the host Sandy Valley Cardinals to 13 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Friday.

The Panthers now hold a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they host Firestone for a non-league test on Friday, September 5. Manchester will meet a Falcons squad coming off a 49-19 non-league loss to Copley (Copley, OH). The Falcons record now stands at 0-2.

With the defeat, Sandy Valley drops to 0-2 on the campaign. The Cardinals host East Canton (East Canton, OH) to meet the Hornets in a non-league test on Friday, September 5. The Hornets come into the test with a record of 2-0. East Canton won 49-0 in their recent non-league test against Wellsville (Wellsville, OH)
