Kentucky High School Football - Breathitt County loses to Perry County Central
August 30, 2024: Jackson, KY 41339 Perry County Central Commodores (Hazard, KY) followers went home pleased Friday as they saw their football team gain a win over the host Breathitt County Bobcats (Jackson, KY), 52-35 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Perry County Central advances its record to 1-1 on the season. The Commodores host Lawrence County (Louisa, KY) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league battle on Friday, September 6. The Bulldogs go into the battle with a record of 2-0. Lawrence County won 49-34 in their recent non-league battle against Shelby Valley (Pikeville, KY)
The Bobcats now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they travel to Lewis County for a non-league battle on Friday, September 6. Breathitt County will play a Lions team coming off a 40-0 non-league loss to Magoffin County (Salyersville, KY). The Lions record now stands at 0-2.
