The Valley Vista Monsoon volleyball team (Surprise, AZ), was tipped 2-1 in Saturday's non-league contest with the visiting Odyssey Institute Minotaur (Buckeye, AZ)

The Minotaur (4-3) will now prepare for their contest against Willow Canyon (Surprise, AZ). The Wildcats enter the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Willow Canyon got by Desert Edge (Goodyear, AZ), 3-0, in a non-league battle.

The Monsoon now own a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host O'Connor for a non-league battle on Tuesday, September 2. Valley Vista will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Corona del Sol (Tempe, AZ). The Eagles record now stands at 7-2.
